The ESR Facility is located in Physical Sciences Building and managed by Chemistry Professor Glenn Millhauser

Electron Spin Resonance (ESR) Facility

The ESR facility is currently used to examine the structure and properties of metal-containing inorganic complexes, peptides, proteins, enzymes, nanoparticles, and biological membranes. The facility's Bruker ELEXSYS 580 X-band spectrometer operates in either continuous-wave or pulsed mode, with variable temperature control. A high-sensitivity Bruker EMX is especially useful for the limited sample sizes often encountered in biological studies. The facility is managed by Professor Glenn Millhauser (Dept. of Chemistry and Biochemistry).
